Why SAC?
The Save A Country (SAC) Foundation is a non-profit organization created in 1992 and constituted according to the laws governing such associations in Haiti. SAC was also established in Canada in 1993. Having obtained a charitable status in 1998, all donations since originating from Canadian citizens are now tax-deductible, allowing for contributors to have them written-off their taxes.
We specialize in the development and implementation of self-help projects. Giving otherwise disenfranchised groups and individuals the opportunity to help themselves is our vocation. Through their integration into the country's formal economy, their opportunity to lead abundant, self-fulfilling lives will be greatly enhanced. We invite you to help in the progress of the endeavors of those whose outlook might be transformed through your contribution. Your donations, sponsorship or whatever manner of assistance, are the keys to the establishment of wealth generating enterprises that will help not only in the improvement of a significant number of people's lives, but also in the eventual transformation of an entire country.
