WELL NOW IS YOUR CHANCE!!!
The SAC Foundation has designed a plan to help you, help others to help themselves, in a way that involves your active participation without stretching either your pocket-book or your commitment! The SAC Foundation Participatory Memebership Program gives you the flexibility to help out in whatever capacity you feel most comfortable. If you have a few hours to spare and would like to be involved, it is now possible to get involved in activities from within your local area! You can join in campaigns, advocacy, awareness and/or fundraising work!!! Through your knowledge, engagement and activism, your life can have a positive impact on communities who are otherwise living under extremely difficult circumstances.
But the participatory membership program is more than just that!!!
Your membership will automatically sign you up to a committee that is actively striving, in your area, to dramatically and positively impact the lives of Haiti’s poorer, rural communities. Once a member, you will immediately become part of an online network that coordinates your participation, directly from where you live, with the work of SAC Foundation members and field-workers on the ground here in Haiti!!! Through this linkage, we firmly believe that you can help us to achieve much more than is already being accomplished. In short, your much needed energy, know-how, experience and enthusiasm is being called upon to help SAC more effectively continue to carry out and fulfill its mission (See About SAC )!!!
How does it work???
Using your strengths, skills and competence, you can choose how to apply yourself as a member of the SAC online committee with representatives from all over the world. Your actions and our needs can thus be coordinated to ensure their maximum impact where it is needed most- with SAC’s Project Beneficiaries!!! The various fields of activity where you may choose to apply yourself include;
1. Promotional activities (of SAC Programs)
2. Fundraising activities
3. Awareness Programs targeting Haitian communities abroad & beyond
4. Networking between the various components of SAC in the USA, Canada, & Haiti
Your engagement is what makes all of this possible! For just US$ 10 a month,
you can help make a world of difference to poor communities. As a result
of your commitment, many people will be granted the newfound opportunity,
through SAC’s programs (for further information see SAC
News & SAC
Programs), to make a profoundly fundamental impact on their own lives, as
well as that of their communities!!!
